Matt, yes it looks as a B&W Only if you look at the grass on that alley you will see the Infrared effect on grass...which i think if that was B&W THE Grass would have been darker...but being white,my Guess is it helps the contrast...thanks for taking the time for a comment i appreciate.

I think this is a tyoe shot we have all seen at one time or another, however, I do think that this is well executed and aesthetically beautiful, even if the subject matter is not erribly original, they only qualm I have with it is thee very dark area on the left edge of the frame that is part of the tree line, I would have like to see more detail there and not have such a dense black on the edge competing with the surrounding elements., but maybe it's just my display obscuring it, overall a very good picture

In fact, i was thinkin if i should have dodged it

that part, but then looking at the picture as a whole.......i left it the way it is.

You've created what some people might say is an average scene and made it interesting with excellent lighting and composition. Very nicely done.

Intersting composition as a whole. Plants and sun balance eachother on one side and the white of the gras with the darker sky on the other. I like the way perspective begins and also the way it makes the eye follow slightly off center. A very good shot!!! Congrats.

Carlos thanks a lot for your comment,But Mother Nature have supplied most of the Elements. The beauty of nature is all around us..if we just could spare some time to observe and admire....

Cristina, i thank you too, and i appreciate for taking the time to comment and watch it closely. This is what is called in Italian chiaroscuro .. Now..if that shot was in plain B&W....The grass would have been darker .....and I wouldn't have that contrast between Grass and the left corner of the darkened sky as you have very well observed.....and the bottom half would have lost it's appeal being darker i could only rely on that sky.which isn't enough to make the viewer's eye travel from top left to bottom right. Am just in love with Infrared....

Tony, excellent. My only thought would have been to take it to the left just a smidge making the fence line more of a diagonal across the scene, though that is personal taste. I like how it divides and leads the eye into the photo. The heighth of the sky corresponds with the heighth of the grassea which I am also finding very appealing.
