As this (PN) is a medium for learning & understanding Rita, your work is well praised and deservingly so, as are all the Photographic Artists/Images of works submitted to be admired and of the remarks of those that are inspired.

But Rita to STEAL the hard work & creative works of other ARTISTS such as;(Lorenzo Ravasco, Nicholas Bostaph, Isaura Simon & Carlos Rafael Alves Dias Ventura) these creative artists mentioned were kind enough to allow with stipulated conditions the use of their created works, Rita to then tell me (Tristan) that these ARTISTS canfuck off as they will never know or for you not to follow through with their simple & very fair requests as was arranged is not at all fair or professional of you Rita despite the colorful representation you project of yourself.

Believing to that we friends & partners I created logos and the original templates manipulated into carnival backgrounds along with everything else that I had arranged digitally including the implementation of systems administration process including the very important & crucial research for the business enterprise that I had initiated & made feasible by helping Rita who as she knows very well did not have the necessary PS skills.

Besides also from Rita using corporate copyright material registered since the year of 2002 it is unbelievable that just 2 days before the Carnival of Malta, Rita then tells me also to fuck off!

This has been written for the awareness of Artists to learn in order to take extra care and prudence of your creative works.

Surely though no ones EGO is that detached from reality and the law except sadly Rita who has used so much work creative and otherwise that was not actually hers or her property but never the less has used this for her own commercial profit completely and foolishly ignoring where credit and payment is due ultimately to her own eventual downfall the legal force that yet in due course is to come bearing down.

Rita Borg truly and you most certainly know that I have wished & helped you well! Even my girlfriend has repeatedly attempted to reach through to you, besides absolutely everything & anything you surely must know that you can not use other peoples works and creations for your own selfish profit and to tell the creators of these works tofuck off!

You should certainly know better as does everyone that talent does not entitle you to be so ignorant in fundamentally DISGRACING all those Artists or otherwise using PN or any other media format in helping aspiring creative persons around the World to better understand & learn!

The STEALING of ART works or of Works Created can not be TOLORATED!!!!!! No matter the status of the affected thief.

Hey Raphael,

First of all thank you for your quick reply, i really appreciate it. Well,

you say I am lucky cause i am in Malta, i don't really see why you say that

since you have never been here as yet and the reason why i say this is

because for a business person it is a very small island and unfortunately

things are extremely slow especially when it comes to photography and this

is why i am trying to introduce something new to the island so that maybe

people will somehow wake up and make a move! lol......

I understand what you had to say when you mentioned the 'Benefit' part, i

would definitely do the same since as i have mentioned earlier i am a

professional photographer, I too have protected work and if you would like

to have a look at some of my work just to see who you are talking with, here

is my link to some uploaded work....

http://www.photo.net/shared/community-member?user_id=610764 .

Now back to where we were, since this is going to be my first trial with

this digital work, i can't really tell you what i will be benefitting myself

cause i have no idea how many people will be choosing your background as an

image to go with their child's portrait. So you tell me what to do

next....thanks once again.

Rita

Dear Sir,

My name is Rita Borg, and i live in Malta, a small island in the centre of the mediterranean sea. The reason why i am writing to you is to ask permission if possible to use one of your art works posted on http://www.unicorn1972.com/ . I am a photographer here in malta and just started venturing into the digital world. With Carnival round the corner i will be taking photos of kids in their carnival costumes. What i would like is to use your background with some of the kids pictures. Please let me know if it is possible so that i will be able to look for something else if not.

I would like to thank you in advance for considering my request.

Regards

Rita Borg

Rita,

Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I love to hear that my work is appreciated and always jump at the chance to get it out there where even more people can see it.

I imagine that you're not exactly a big business, and are probably working on as small a profit as the rest of us, so I'm going to give you permission to go ahead and use my image for this event. I'm not sure how extensively you planed on using my work. For now I'm granting you free legal rights to use the image Dragon Fury for reproduction at your local carnival. If things work well and you would like to continue using my work, maybe we could work out a deal for future uses. Please contact me if you were interested in using any other images of mine.

I'd very much like to hear about exactly how you're going to use the image, and perhaps see a final product when that time finally comes around. Please write back and give me some more details. :)

Thanks,

Nicholas Bostaph

Hey Simon,

First of all thanks for your quick reply, i really appreciate it. i read your reply with a lot of enthusiasm since you seem to have given me the go ahead, however i think there is a little bit of misunderstanding. The reason why i would like to use your background is to print it out on photographs not to upload it on a website. As I have explained in my previous note to you, I am a photographer and will be taking photos of children in their carnival costumes sometime in febraury. i will be working on them digitally, so instead of putting them against the same boring background i would love to use of your images to make the photo look a lot more interesting. I will also put your name somewhere on the photo ....ARTWORK KINDLY SUPPLIED BY ISAURAS or even your website link, it is up to you if you want or not, but i would be more than happy to do so, so pls let me know.

Hopefully i explained myself a little bit better than the last time. Thanks for your time once again.

Regards

Rita

Dear Rita,

It is fine with me if you would like to use some of my work on your web-site, but only from the 3D section (http://www.isauras.com/renderings/) and as long as you establish a link to my web-site and provide a full and prominent credit for the artwork. Please do not alter the artwork in any way.

I don't have a problem with you using my artwork on your website as long as it is for non profit. If you are making a profit, then I would ask for a licensing fee for each piece used.

Thanks again for your interest in my work. Be sure to visit again; new work is added frequently.

Sincerely,

Isaura Simon

Antonio, first commentator, says he found similar colored earth in Australia.. Well, earth doesnt grow in lines, so it could be some type of ripening plant, which the dismal, drab, dreary, dead digits cant recreate in their natural original color... nor can the poor zoom optics clarify..Blue clouds, in a pasty blue sky, dead grass, earthy crops, half dead tree, what are we getting dumbed down to in this digital age...???

Dont you get tired of hearing youself bark! Thomas dont hold on to the past too much longer. The best film cameras are still better than the best digital but the gap is closing. Could you hear the footsteps? Its called progress Thom, you cant wish progress dead it wont happen so stop insulting everyone who owns a digital. You dont critique, you insult. You waste the knowledge you have instaed of sharing it. The day of full frame 20 megapixel plus digitals with optics better than the best film cameras are coming. Have a good day proffessor.

Rita says I understand what you had to say when you mentioned the 'Benefit' part, i would definitely do the same since as i have mentioned earlier i am a professional photographer, I too have protected work.

Raf- it has to be non commercial, if you make benefits with the picture unfortunately I'll ask you a part of them. [sO Rita WHAT DID YOU GIVE - RAF?]

Rita says i will be putting ' ARTWORK KINDLY SUPPLIED BY....your name or your website (you choose)' somewhere on the photograph before i get it printed.

Lorenzo - could you please send me some of your best photos you'll create. [sO Rita WHAT DID YOU GIVE - LORENZO? did you actually put Artwork kindly supplied by on the photographs? NO, did you send him the examples NO!]

The same for Nicholas Bostaph. [Rita did you send him the examples NO!]

Rita says I will also put your name somewhere on the photo ....ARTWORK KINDLY SUPPLIED BY ISAURAS or even your website link, it is up to you if you want or not, but i would be more than happy to do so, so pls let me know.

Isaura Simon If you are making a profit, then I would ask for a licensing fee for each piece used.

[sO Rita WHAT DID YOU GIVE - ISAURA? did you actually put Artwork kindly supplied by on the photographs? NO, did you send him a licensing fee? NO!]

Then there is the registered copyright material that you have used Rita. There is also the logos and the original templates that I created along with a hell of a lot more. Rita you did not even have the necessary PS skills to do what needed to be done. Helping you alone should have made you somewhat appreciative but to then STEAL, Rita read the words (dont just paste them in) to see what these kind people have told you in writing. The fact that you did not adhere to their request says it all and enforces what you said to me; that these artists can fuck off as they will never know. The very same thing that you then said to me and now therefore as said before the legal force that yet in due course is to come bearing down!

Ego is one thing Disgracing another but the Truth is your STEALING works from others, using it for your own selfish profit at a detriment to those that have created these works. So Rita who is obviously proving that she has no idea in the meaning of the word IGNORANCE wake up it has nothing at all to do with jealousy it though has everything to do with PRINCIBLES!

Thanks for admitting the reason why this photo is dead, Joe, and telling us that the best digitals are catching up with film. HOW BIG IS THE GAP?? If u didnt hear all the .wows. elicited on PN from the agfa.german glass shots, then u had your digital blinkers on...that means the gap, for the NORMAL digital cameras is still large... . What does that best digital cost, about 10K??? Now isnt that a lot to pay for a camera, that will soon be obselete, in this mad, expensive rush to try and take perfect shots with a new technology??? And, the perfect ones are coming.. u say..well when they arrive, we will do another comparison, and if they cost 10K, tough luck for the average fotog on PN...till then I will bark at dead pix..

FYI, jaymaisel.com shoots with digital, but his use of sunlighting is so wonderful, that it overshadows, any weakness in the digits..Add to that his superb composition, and nobody, not even this barker, can NOT say wow to 99% of the maisel DIGITAL shots.. on jaymaisel.com site, farming category, third foto, we see cabbages in rows and clouds. A stunning composition, use of light etc, but the final colors are somewaht drab and DO detract..so woof..woof, again for that one and this one......and no, I cant do better than maisel, but we dogs are allowed to bark, if something needs to be barked at..

Once a fotog, as a digital user, gets dumbed down to drab digital, I think it makes it rather difficult to criticize others dreary digital shots, for would that not then be admitting you goofed, and had jumped the gun onto the new technology. Fun maybe, shooting with a mobile fone, or pen, or a point and shoot zoom, with f5.6, and no controls, or just using the scanner, or trying to make it real in PS, but, surely not a very satisfying end result..,

And about what are them two Malteesers fighting???... maybe they should fight on their private emails, not a site set aside solely for the digital.analogue wars.

Clearly the above comments show that there are more than a few people out there that envy Rita's ability to take a photo....yes women can take pictures too!!!

Seems to me the only way you can tell the difference is when you look at the tech details of the picture profile.

Here is another interview with Jay Maisel everyone should read. Do your homework Thomas.

Rita, I'm not sure what all the hullabaloo above is about but the is a beautiful shot--great colors! This would look great in a southwestern motif home. Keep up the good work.

hey Brian, just to clear some things for you, all the pictures uploaded on here and ALL mine, they were taken by no one but myself. The comment made by that person above has got nothing to do with these pictures over here, it is something personal and that he felt like sharing with everybody else on the net even though as you all can see it makes no sense, but that's another story, so if you're on this page, please either comment on the photo or else i would appreciate it if you move onto the next...thank you.
