I guess I've been brainwashed by nature photo workshops I've attended but two things stand out: the main flower is bulls-eyed and the damaged/old specimens are distracting. Just my opinion though.

Thanks G. Much appreciated. I am not realy into flours but to extend my range of what I can photograph I decided as a project to do flowers. And aparantly I need to think of certain things as thirds and the aestatics. It was not realy a hot I sat down for. I appreciate your feedback, this way we learn instead of just get mocked like some of the photo'net people do at times. Ciao

Your flower is indeed so soft and sweet. However, it seems unable to lead people a feeling of Spring. Spring always gives me the feeling of cool & wet in Hong Kong. The grass and the flowers are commonly coated with the dew drops on their surfaces in the morning. If the grass or flower get just a few water drops, Spring will come out much obviously in your picture. Any way, your flower is still so attractive :D

thanks y'all. Abou the damaged flower was kind if left in because of contrast between new and old, life and death etc. etc. I think I failed in this. But thanks for your remarks.

Wong, I know how spring is in Hong Kong and Singapore, NYC is different though. We can have temperatures around 60-70 one day and snow and around 30 temps the next. Like today and yesterday we had snow storms the day before that I wasw walking in Central Park in my t :)
