A look into the life of a young river boat girl.

This is good but I wonder if you had choosen a wider focal length and larger fstop you might have seperated the woman from the background a bit. In fact, it looks like you focused to the background. I think it would have been stonger had you focused on the girl. You have a good eye for color though!

Thanks CM, good comment. I was in another moving boat so had no time to focus. Just got this image before my boat moved on. It's set on auto so I guess the meter focused on the general background. Lucky to have the shot anyway.

I love shots like this. I am curious to know how other people live in different parts of the world. Love the colours here and if you step back from the screen everything looks to be in focus, except for the nearest part of the boat. We all sit too close to our monitors anyway and need to step back and have a good stretch ;-) The TV antenna is a real surprise, as I can't imagine a place like this having electricity.
