Sunset in Aberystwyth, Wales (UK)

Two basic questions:

1. Does the positioning and relative size of the gorse bush work?
2. Would the sunset look better if it was in focus (e.g. f/22ish) (Ididn't have a tripod with me at the time; just looking for people'sopinions)

Good photo Jonathan and you raise some valid questions. I'm far from an expert but think the sun or bush would be better if a little more focused. That being said you would have to figure some way to compensate for the lack of a tripod....ahhh sweet mysteries of life ;). In other words in order for this to work for me, as is,the bush would need to be spot on and I don't see that. However don't miss the two most important comments....I liked it annnnnd I'm far from an expert ;)....keep trying!

the out of focus sun, quite like it. Maybe crop away a little top and bottom, but not much, don't want it too close to the edges.
