I really like how it turned out.

Rockin' in deed....Love the use of PS in this, well done, how great is this to be able to turn photos into drawings, we did similar in the darkroom era using Photo Mechanical Film with a thick base, and made a positive-negative, then turned them base to base,letting the light slip by the two values to make a "Tone Line" print, I will be putting one up soon for example. They were lots of work, and the results not as good as this ! *R*

I think this would also look great sepia-toned.

Thanks for the feedback. I liked it too, though I am prejudiced, this is MY front porch and I love the view.

 

Very interested in seeing a shot like the one you describe Roger.

Just put up a tone line as described.....boy has PN had a kick in the ribs, down for most of the day ! Just back seeing if my comments have vaporized here as in most places. She'll be Apples now eh ? *R*

Regina, this is a wonderful rendition. Great ps work.

My husband added this poetry by Robert Sexton to the framed version I have at home:

 

"...And when we grow old I will find two chairs

 

and set them close each sunlit day,

 

that you and I - in quiet joy - may rock the world away".

I also like the not-so-perfect (hence real) details, specifically, the roof of the porch, that has what might be reflections or water stains.. who knows.
