guillelobera 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Terpsichore or Tepsicore (also known as Woman dressed in Skirt) The purity and elegance of this sculpture makes it one of the finest evocations of dance that any artist has ever created in space. In 'Terpsichore, Muse of dance', Dalí (1971) offers us a masterpiece for the history of sculpture. Terpsichore elevates its arms to the Basque sky and seems that She requests for our Country freedom, solidarity and peace. My tribute goes to the victims of the worst terrorist attack in the Spanish History: at least 180 killed and 1000 wounded in multiples blasts targeting trains in Madrid today, 2004-03-11. These attacks look like work of ETA but Otegui (Basque separatiste leader) says doesn´t think that ETA is responsable for Madrid blasts. Link to comment
