rulon 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Greetings Lou Ann,I've had a chance to see a few of your Brooks Range shots. They are all impressive, as are your Alcan road trip shots. The more facinating is that many of these are taken on snapshot film. With a polarizer and some Velvia, you're going to be a tough competitor. This one could have the foreground dodged up a bit but otherwise quite good. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 11, 2004 Magnificent viewpoint you were at here. Good composition with the right hand hill and then the road. I wonder whether it might be worth trying to get a little more contrast to bring out the gulleys in the foreground hills and the patch of sunlight. Still no huskies. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 12, 2004 Colin - I am, in my totally type-A, "AR" personality, trying to upload my Alaska shots chronologically. My trip to Denali included a shot or two of huskies, and Denali was only a couple of days after the Dalton Highway. Sooooo.... soon!! :-) Thanks so much for following my portfolio ... your input is invaluable!! Link to comment

cristina_fumi 0 Posted March 13, 2004 nice point of you: I envy your trip to Alaska! Maybe you should just add a bit of contrast... Link to comment
mikecarruthers 0 Posted March 13, 2004 You are making it difficult for me to know that I don't have the vacation time this year to make the trip. You're doing a very good job of doing the area justice. Well done. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted March 18, 2004 Hi Lou Ann, I like the sweep of the hills and mountains in this shot. Huskies? Wonderful dogs. Can't wait to see them. I used to own one. Link to comment
