View from east rim of Grand Canyon

Shadows from clouds made this interesting (plus the view) to me.

Nice piece. The rock on the right seems weird. Did you lighten it after it was too dark? Love the shadows. Focus is excellent. Nice composition. Colors seem a little light, but most likely from the distance. Nice work.

The rock seems wierd to me as well, but it was not lightened, just a combination of composition and light that didn't quite work. I appreciate your comment.

WOW! Those shadows are AWESOME! They really make the pink portions stand out.

Clouds or not the place is incredible. No shortage of views. Next time I'll do some hiking and get some shots from below the rim. I'll be posting more in the next few days.
