Atigun Pass, Brooks Mountain Range, 3

This is Atigun Pass in the Brooks Mountains, partway between Deadhorse

and Wiseman, AK. One of the things that I truly love about the

mountains in Alaska is that many of them rise up from sea-level flat

land. I believe that this shot demonstrates that aspect. Any

comments or ratings are appreciated!

Awesome the way the mountain end... I'm finally figuring out the curves tool... I think it would work wonders on the dark areas and bring the detail back. This is one of my favorites of yours...

Hard to imagin, this in Winter....! Is this what would be called Tundra ? Such a wonder, that anything can survive such a climate....nature is magic ! Thank you for bringing this to us.... *R*
