bizkaia, north spain left vs right

I think that it is difficult to understand this photo for nonSpanish

people. I will try to explain it more or less. Next 2004-03-14, the

Spanish will decide who will govern the country during four years.

Actually, the President of the Government is Aznar (PP), but he will

not represent this party again, now for PP is Mariano Rajoy, the

Aznar's successor. PP (Partido Popular) is a conservative party. The

third main party is IU(Izquierda Unida)=Ezker Batuak-Berdeak in the

Basque Country, with Gaspar Llamazares as candidate. IU is the

Comunist Party, and its real possibilities to get the Government are

not very high. Usually they make union with PSOE or others little

parties « from the left » to govern in some regions. It´s written in

the poster: Mariano (Mariano Raloy), Ezker Batuak-Berdeak (IU) warns:

To vote to the right seriously harms the freedom, the democracy and

the dialogue.

Guillermo, very good shot also if difficult to understand at a first glance...the counterpoint with the wealthy woman (on the right of the image, while the poster is on the left!)gives the right touch to the image.

Impresionante, ni adrede queda una imagen tan bien conjuntada. Siento si ofendo a la transeunte, pero toda ella es un reflejo de la derecha española.

Ya queda poco para la mejoria de la enfermedad de la que hablas!

La foto muy imaginativa, pero el poster no te lo pierdas, es genial!

La mujer de la "derecha" tiene toda la pinta de serlo (de la derecha). Fantastico!...
