antonio.giacomo 0 Posted March 8, 2004 I have tried to capture an image of what I saw in my mind. If you know Winchester, of have just visited, you will have seen this building. To take a photograph like this with a camera would involve demolishing the bus station (neutral), a restaurant (objection) and a pub (sacrilege). Also, please do not tell me that the cars and the van ruin the aesthetics. I know. I will re-shoot when I can. Link to comment
antonio.giacomo 0 Posted March 8, 2004 I know that I am criticising myself, but even the large version looks rather fuzzy. Link to comment
antonio.giacomo 0 Posted March 8, 2004 The original is 80 megapixels, and it sems that, when I resize very high definition images so that the longer dimension is 800 pixels, then put on enough JPEG compression to get the image under 100k, the result looks fuzzy. Perhaps there is a much cleverer resizing algorithm that avoids this effect. Link to comment
