Silhouette II

I first was drawn by the mohawk's silhouette but then seeing the

whole picture, well....

I love your composition here. It may be a little stronger if you crop a bit off the top and bottom to a square format.

Tom I really like this one. I agree somewhat with the previous comment about making it square but I wouldnt cut from the bottom.

Knicki. All advice is welcome. The thing is with this picture it has gone through so many changes over the last few months. With lamppost, without. squaure, longer, only the arch, with the rest of the tunnel. Etc. At a moment in time you have to say, this is it. Otherwise it becomes more a computerart then photographic art composition if you get my drift? Actually the one without the lamppost was more aestethic but everybody came with other ideas and I said, go back to basic with this one. And I find it a beaut, captures the two "luvers" the way they should. Thanks for again commenting :)

i do really love that kinds of images Tom and i think most of ur photographs are pretty interesting in ur next travel try to be in Turkey, sure u ll have some good things to photograph..

Nice... emotional, touching shot. The guy on the left looks like an elf though... pointy ears and head. Maybe they are visiting from the north pole.

 

For what it's worth... I like the lamp post there.

Central Perk is a great place to "shoot" people and animals too. Keep an eye on the portfolio, in two weeks time I will have much more to share, like these pics. Thanks Erin for revisiting my pf
