meet the woolie family

The big fella looks a little tatty; babies exactly resemble stuffed toys. Wonder if they're as warm and fuzzy as they look? One of these days I *must* see a sheep up close.

For some reason I think of cloning when I see this image. Sheep are my favorite farm animals for expressiveness, there seems to be some hidden intelligence behind those eyes. I guess I shouldn't sell pigs short as they are probably the smartest farm animals. I notice that you don't take too many photos of pigs.

Were these guys really this compliant? Or did you have to shoot 200 photos to get this? Amazing shot....all 3 looking at the camera and not too close or far....as someone who has had many difficult animal photo shoots, I commend you!

definitely an excellent farm animal shot to me. I can almost smell it. actually, I live near a lot of sheep...I can definitely smell it.
