A slightly larger version would be better for the random ratings queue. Lovely pastel colors, but looks a little soft in this compressed format. I'm sure your original is good.

Trees do look very soft and as I look at the large version even worse. I'll keep posting until I figure out how to do it correctly. It's tough being male and not allowed to read an instruction manual. Thank you for your comment.

Dropped out of the random image queue to take a closer look. Fuji Velvia. Your original slide must be rather nice. What equipment are you using form the scanning process and which software?

I don't think the problem is with the equipment (Nikon coolscan 4000 and photoshop 7), I believe the problem is my knowledge in getting the file to a web ready format. My epson 2200 pumps out wonderful 13x19 prints of all my work, but heaven forbid I should try to adjust it in photoshop. Of course reading past page two in the manual might help out too. This photo is worse than most of them turn out. I do like this photo and will try to get time to work on it, however it was on the first roll of 30 that I got back from A&I so it may take a back burner while I throw away a whole bunch of slides. If you have suggestions on what I can do differently in preparing the image I'll definitely try it. Thank you m m.
