Balanced rock (best viewed large)

I would like to know if this is just another shot of Balanced rock

or if the light makes it a little special. Thanks.

Can't say this shot is 100% original (there can't be too many shots inside the Arches National Park boundary that is anymore), but it looks great to me. Very pleasing composition, especially with the La Sal mountains in the background.

Is it OK, for someone who has never visited the Arches National Park, to say that this is sensational?

I might suggest lightening Balanced Rock a little to

make it look better on this dreaded PN white background. It probably looks just fine on a black background in Photoshop, but the bright white causes ones to shutdown and distorts shadow tones.
