You are getting better and better at photography, and you are putting everyone else to shame, so will you please stop it. The differential sharpening and smoothing very definitely adds to the aesthetic appeal.

A great use of PS that makes the eyes really pop.

Eyes too much sharpened and skin too much blurred for my taste - is your skin that bad that you have to blur it that much?

A little kitchy overall - can`t complain about the model though!

The crop is also good.

Oh i forgot, since the title is Catch lights - actually is more aesthetic appealing if the human eye has one catch light not two.

Just my 2c!

double catch lights are perfectly fine, matter a fact i often use two PhotoFlex strip lights (one on each side of model when doing full length shots ....and in the case for this head and shoulder close up "Catch lights" in the eyes are MUST ...Rita pulled off the two main rules to a "T" and that is catch lights in the eyes and the rule of thirds .....

and as i stated before on PN .....as soon as you put your photograph in Photoshop ALL BETS ARE OFF!! good skin bad skin dust or scratch removal etc. its all up to the artist .....I guess i could put before and after pictures up of my work so you can see the steps taken to get to the end???

Okay that all got just a bit tech'y, really all im saying is what a great photographer/model !!!! by the way this is the first 7/7 i think i gave Rita!

Ciao

The sharp eyes are very penetrating, especially in contrast with the softening in the rest of the photo.

Overdone? I don't think so, but some other variations might be interesting.

Hi Rita you have better portraits than this one, I feel you concentrated a bit too much on the eyes & less on your body posture.
