I've seen similar shots on this site, so here is my entry. Of course

I think mine is better! I took this many years ago and I only just

noticed that I ran the image directly on the diagonal of the frame,

generally not a good idea, but it seems to work. The 24mm helped

make it seem endless. I just wish the company logo was not there. A

fellow member picked this out of a crowd so I thought I would see

what others thought. Thank-you, John Crowe.

Here we have got a great picture. it's simple, it shows a different perspective on items of everyday's life, the colours are minimalistic. i do not mind about the company's logo, in the context of the image it contributes to lead the viewers eye, plus it also is a part of the subject. excellent, both on originality and aesthetics!

So you like yours better, eh? . . . :-)

I've got one in my singles folder along with an inline image like this one shot with a 50mm. I think the visual weight is well balanced across the strong oblique line. Looks like it was set on hyperfocal. . . hard to tell how sharp the front 'Loblaws' is.

The front "Loblaws" is not as sharp as the second one, but not bad. I handheld this with 25 asa film, so probably f8 to f11. At this time in my life I would have used the depth of field indicators on the lens to set the focus. If I had used hyperfocal focussing I could have done better. Carl, thank-you!
