My Father and Me in our Boathouse

I saw this little girl smiling happily at the boathouse which she

stayed with her large family. She looks contented and happy. So

sweet that I have to get an image of her truely in her daily

environment.

I like this, but I would crop out the blue wall on the right. It takes away from the composition. That is in my opinion. Did not let that impact my rating however. The image is too good. All my best, Howard

Thanks Howard. It's actually a wooden support for the roof on the boat and I included it to highlight their different living condition. If I exclude it perhaps it will look more like an ordinary river shot? Well, just my choice anyway, and I like the mellow lighting and just look at her smile, her bright eyes - isn't she adorable?

Shes very beautiful and you got a great shot of her.

What else can I say. This image really makes me long for the South Pacific Islands and the gentle ways of the people there. You really captured a moment in time here.

Hi Robert, I know what you mean about South Pacific. I had the chance of being in Norfolk Island, Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Very different and lovely, the people and the tropical atmosphere. Here in Cambodia it's equally nice and peaceful now.
