"THE INSTRUCTOR"

"The Instructor" Waiting for the night shift. My first shot 2004 and my first attempt with the 20-35mm zoom lens. Shutter speed: 1/125. Aperture: f/16. Zoom range: 20mm. Time of day: 13.45. Recently my mother in law passed away. My wife and her mother where very close. She was a kind and leading person. After her death, me and my wife went to her birth village to see the house she was born in. Not faraway from the house this lighthouse is standing. Suddenly the sky became like this, only for a couple of minutes and changed very quickly like the weather does here in Iceland (notice how the clouds above the lighthouse form two kissing images - is she being greeted by her late husband?). I made 4 shots and one later, more different and decided to use the first one. Thanks in advance for your time, ratings and comments. Copyright: Baldur Birgis
