All very well.. but where is that warm late afternoon sun shining right down our street, backlighting all those humanoids, and casting nice solid black shadows..Lifeless canon.digits dont help much. Title a little too optimistic.. a dull late in the day foto of a crowded, narrow dreary, drab street is what I see....see jaymaisel.com for some real clear well lighted street photos, then try again..

Very nice atmosphere. I love the shot. I took one from the same spot a few months earlier (in my portfolio if you want to check it). It's great to see it at a different time. Go back again, I hope to.

Gaetan: Now were getting there. Apply a layer screen to lighten the snow. Then apply the burn tool to darken the patch of sky. You will then have perfection.

Gaetan: I like the composition, the theme and the location. I understand the quasi-backlit style, but I never liked it in those 80s Hollywood movies, and I feel it is a bit too drab. MHO ;)
