Combination of three images. The background (Fuji Velvia slide film) was duplicated, vertically flipped and distorted to create the reflecting surface; the woman (Kodak high speed infrared) was added and created reflecion and concentric waves; last, the woman was duplicated and distorted to simulate the crystal ball reflection. All efects made in Photoshop.

For my personal taste, the skintone of the model does not match with the background very well. Otherwise it's a creative and original shot. Cheers.

Thanks for your comment. That difference is due to the use of infrared film in the woman picture, which gives a pearlized tone to white skin. I really love the tone of skin the infrared film produce and wanted to maitain it as is. Also this film produces greater film grain that is noticeable in the picture.
