Excelent photo. Great subject, pose, and composition. Good lighting. But we do need a caption. Is she a waterseller? The sepia colouring takes away from the documentary realism and makes the photo more romantic. For me that reduces the value.

very good portrait. i cannot quite discribe why this is so striking, but it is. perhaps it's how the girl is almost a model posing in the midst of a not so glamorous environment. sorry if my explanation falls short. as for the technical details, i like the composition though a bit more leg at the bottom would not hurt. sepia i think works well. great photo.

Another great shot. This may be a matter of taste, but I think your natural, portrait work is so great that I don't understand why you bother with the digital manipulation side of things, which to me, is a bit corny and not your strongest work. Just my opinion, of course. But when I see these portraits, I wish I'd taken them.
