Sunrise on the Bridge II

You've got some great photos on your folder, but I feel this one stands out. The colors, lines, detail, are all spot on. Great job.

This photo seems to be getting good response, so I want to find out

what others think about it.

 

Taken at sunrise on a clear fall morning after some joggers had

cleared the bridge. Tried several more normal views and then this

more abstract approach with a 17mm lens. Ran off a few 2-1/4" x 2-

1/4" shots as well.

The bridge with it's structure and colour is perfect to capture the colours of the sunrise.

Thank-you Yannik. The original slide is awesome. One of these days, when a good scanner does not cost as much as a good DSLR, I will scan this, and many other images, properly. I have lost at least one stop of exposure, if not two, in most of the scans you will find in my portfolio.

 

 

These are essentially the colours I'd like to duplicate in digital. If I am feeling courageous one frigid morning I may try a winter shot when the sky is ultra clear!
