ljk 0 Posted February 28, 2004 I actually like this effect, Alec. Gives it a more alien like appearance..... PS...Looking again, I REALLY like it. The leaves become seed pods, the vines acid rain....very cool! Link to comment
vickilynn 0 Posted February 28, 2004 I would have never thought of the sepia for this but I like it alot. Link to comment
hassan 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Interesting colors, rich in detail. Nice shot, well composed. Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted February 29, 2004 I don't understand your title (my problem there!)unless these leaves look like giant claws of some prehistoric beast ... but I do like the photo. What you have done to it works well IMO. But I'm wanting to have a tidy edge at the bottom (not snip off the bottom of the leaves) so I would have done it in portrait format. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Nice image. Like sepia tones, I also would never have thought of this. I like the title, as opposed to Fora = green Fauna= flesh tones. Neat! Link to comment
george ewald 0 Posted October 7, 2004 I don't know why, but of all your fabulous shots, this is the one that called out to me. I didn't even notice the title. It was the composition. The depth. The stately presence of the leaves. It WAS an interesting choice to use sepia toning. I'm wondering if you experimented, or if you just went straight to the sepia. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted October 8, 2004 Hi George. The colored version is just as interesting. I just wanted a new twist to it as the rich sepia tones really freaked me out. Link to comment
