A castle in the Mountains of Ariege

An old photo taken during my 1988 hollydays in the Pyrénées. This is

a black and white from a colour version. I have add clouds and darken

the sky and the far mountains to dramatize the picture. Thank you to

rate and critic.

Henri, I like the image very much and as well as the level of grain. I would be curious to see the colour version as well.

Thank you Amar. The grain is due to the fact that this is the blue layer of the colour version. The blue layer has always more grain that the red and the green layer when you scan an argentic film or a print from argentic film. For certain photos, I like this grain which give the appearance of a very old photo. The atmosphere of the colour and original version has really nothing to do with this one. I will show you as soon as possible.

I too like the grain and the dark mood.
