lost detail, colors are not true enough, might be the scanner or could try different film

I do like E100VS and Velvia for their saturated colours. With the 1/2 stop original underexposure of the film plus the underexposure and loss of detail due to the older scanner, the colours have become supersaturated. The resulting contrast has left a very "graphic" or perhaps surreal image of the car. Does it have any merit as such? I have a similar photo of a yellow and silver car in my folder.

I like this picture; it's a cut above the run-of-the-mill motorsport shots. That's not to down-play other motorsport pics in this section, many of which are technically excellent, BUT they're the sort of thing you see in motorsport magazines every day. I just thought this picture was refreshingly different; it would make a good poster. I'm no expert; this is just a personal opinion
