guillelobera 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Located in front of Añisclo Canyon, the small place of Vió (1210 m) conserves a beautiful romanesque lombard temple of the 12th century. In its right side are the strongs walls of the Sestrales (2100 m), to the left Mondoto (1960 m) and Tresserols or Monte Perdido (Mont- Perdu) covered by clouds in this picture. The cross-border (France- Spain) Mont-Perdu massif (3355 m) has been registered on the World Heritage list since December 6, 1997 for both "natural and cultural" landscape criteria. Link to comment
isaacsantaella 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Magnifica Guillermo. El cielo es imponente. Yo intensificaria un poco la zona derecha del cielo, para equlibrar un poco mas la foto, pero es solo mi opinión. Link to comment

angel_luis_hernandez 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Preciosa foto, parece un cuadro, el cielo es ideal para la foto, y muy bonito el tono de luz que le da a la iglesia. Foto excelente. Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Un cielo espectacular en una composición clásica. La saturación apropiada hace que la foto sea simplemente excelente! Link to comment
nino1 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Guillermo, nice shot of this almost forgotten-in-the-time place. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Great subject.. How would I have shot? Let me think first...Backgound not really harmonising so 2 things, one get it slightly out of focus, so you still see some distant dramatic shapes, to give depth to the shot, but no fine details, and then get a low camera position so that the old church appears above most of the hills.. The sun angle with its dramatic, strong shadow detail is fine for the timing, but I would wait for more interesting cloud formations. It is now quite unbalanced with the big hole to the left of the tower, and rather lifeless mass above the main building. Clouds can move pretty fast at that altitude, so in a few minutes I would have had a new and diff. picture, maybe much more balanced. Then the foreground..I think with this subject I would have made it more earthy, and having already dropped nearer to the ground for the shot, I would be getting more ground area, and some of the upper sky would get chopped off. The foreground is not so exciting so it could quite safely be OOF. I would use agfa ultra 100 or fuji reala superia 100 for negs or fuji sensia for slides, and a zeiss lens, although olympus betters canon and nikon, ..to bring out all the subtle colors that surely must exist there. No real need for life here, but a stray dog, a bird in flight, or a walker going by would add, not detract. Angel, el cielo NON esta ideal para foto, ahora non esta bonito. Link to comment
