The Alaska Range (Tok, Alaska) 1

One of my personal favorites from the road trip this summer. I found

that getting up early in the summer Alaska is never early enough to

catch the best light. :-) This is one of my best attempts to catch

the sun coming up! Any comments or ratings are appreciated!

You have a winner. Beautiful depth and balance. I like the way the colors contrast in layers/ Great position pointing to the blue, joining the layers together. Good light--some shadows, but not too harsh.

You have outdone yourself Lou Ann... love the graduation of dark to light moving left to right. The skinny trees are placed perfectly.

This should be a one your favorites...well done

I like the left to right movement from the colours and lines of the landscape. Nice.

Very nice composition, Lou Ann - everything works well. You have a few trees sticking up on the left to balance the cloud formation on the right. The colors are vivid and pleasing.

my favorite ... so far ... in that folder... I am not that fan of landscape picture but I like the simplicity of the composition and the match of saturated(?) colors of this one.

Looks very nice, Lou Ann. Excellent colors. The only thing, right side seems a little bit bleached (probably, because of not perfectly adjusted polarizer or maybe plus camera angle relatively to the sun). Nevertheless, it's pretty good. One of my favorites in your folders. Colors are really amazing.

Looking at these pictures is going to make the next 4 months go by real slow ( can't wait to get to alaska already!)
