Rhodedendron fiesta

Glen Etive is a beautiful place. For a very short period rhodedendron blooms in fantastic abundance peppering the tedious summer greens with pink and purple. One day I will time the arrival of this spectacular event with lighting to do it justice. Thankfully a polariser and an 81B helped add some punch.

I was stuck by the contrasting colours but it's a pity the lighting

wasn't more spectacular on the day I visited. Please append your

opinions.
