navarra 0 Posted February 23, 2004 Looks very good to me. I usually don't like half colored pictures so I vote this over the other one. Simone Link to comment
timo_heubach 0 Posted February 23, 2004 A very balanced image. Everything seems to be just in place and the framing could hardly be any better. Everything, like the leaning of the trees, the umbrella(s) on the background, the park bench and especially the winding road create a beautiful and harmonious image that is in balance with it self. Great work! Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted February 23, 2004 Timo Hi. I really appreciate you took the time to look at this picture, and i thank you for your nice comments on it. Timo..i have only one question,i don't know if you rated this picture, not that you should but i think that a lot of ratings that people give are not shown on the rating's list...it happened to me too. i rated some pictures....and when i went on that picture back i didn't notice my rating. Anyway,i thank you again, and am happy i was able to make a tiny contribution to the beauty of nature. Link to comment
brian_valentin 0 Posted February 24, 2004 Excellent image... Great use of infared with the grass. I enjoy traveling through your photo.I would put this photo on my wall. I like it very much. Suggestions... Were the umbrellas by design ? Somewhat distracting to me. Questions... I am taking an infared 35mm film class this summer. How did you achieve your infared image. Do you have any other angles of this shot? Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted February 24, 2004 Brian Hi.First of all i would like to thank you on your comments am pleased you liked it..Now second,No, the umbrellas where there actuallythere is some kind of a lake nearby...and people ususally set umbrellas and enjoy. Now about Infrared,Hmmm.am happy you joining a course in infrared.....First of all not every camera is capable of shooting infrared..some digicams do.....like Minolta,s,sony's Canon'sam talking about digital cameras...with conventional film yes,you can too but the beauty of digital is that you can immediately see your results.....you need some filters for infraredlike the Hoya R72..or some neutral density filters stacked with polarizers if you don't have aHoya R72.....after that you have taken the shot there's a workflow you have to go through Photoshop....i could go on,and on.Your best bet would be to go online and just type infrared Photography...and you'll come up with lots of sights going into every detail..for Digital, and Conventional infrared.Anything you can shoot in infrared Plants glow white,Water and Sky turn black ect..ect...Good Luck Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted March 6, 2004 Great use of infrared film. It really accentuates the flow of the path and balances out the composition by rendering the trees a similar color as the grass. I thought this was snow when I first looked at it. Really the composition on this on is about flawless. I have some IR film in my bag that I have'nt shot yet. Waiting for summer to green everything up for me. Great work! Link to comment
jannis 0 Posted March 8, 2004 Great image but the umbrellas are a bit distracting in my opinion. Still great though! Link to comment
