Elizabeth, there's a beautiful painting like effect to this image. I love the lighting and emphasis to the snow, the colour in the sky and silhouette like feel to the church.

There seems to be some "fringing" around the towers and spires -- although it could also merely be jpg artifacts. Otherwise, I love the soft oil-paint effect. --jim
