Neat shot, good exposure, focus is wonderful, this is a tough exposure so you get lots of credit for that. I like the catchlight in the dog's eyes, almost looks like a painting. Nice job.

Nice....... makes me sad to think of my dog which passed on six months ago at 12 years old.

Looks like he was a really nice companion. I'm sorry about your loss. One of ours passed away about a year ago(she was only six monts old) and I don't think we'll ever get over that.

You two are making me sad - I can't bear the thought of my dogs ever passing away, but unfortunately it happens. You get so attached to them and they are part of the family.

 

I like this shot - very adorable.

What made it worst was to get over him we got another dog, a Sheltie soon after but due to Demodex mites and thyroidism complications after six months with us we had to put her to sleep to end her suffering. Yes it's sad the doctors cannot save her and now my kids dare not get another pet dog apart from the two cats we have presently. (Notice the inset of red mange around her front paws, attached photo)

You need good light to capture a decent photo of these darker colored dogs... It looks like you've done it here, nice work.. Love the Black and White's also.
