i like the difference in the light between the foreground and the back. i also like the tint that you chosen and the the whole scene.

Beautiful scene. Only improvement for my eye would be to remove the black area in the bottom right which looks man made (whether it is or not). This would be a one minute job and would really help emphasise the feeling that people don't even go there. Although I'd like to after seeing this.:)

It is heartwarming [despite the coldness of the scene] to see such unpolluted beauty. Thank you.

Well, you could put people there, but only on promise not to bulid anything above three men height. Toning is a bit peculiar, I'd like to see something a tad bluer and a bit less saturated (simple colorisation at 218:11 something like that). And what was the light - is it a night time or dusk with a very long exposure? Very good picture indeed.

I just really love this. I, personally, love the color tone. I also like that you've left snow at the bottom of the scene. It really helps emphasize the unspoiled beauty of the place.

The feeling of uninhabitance is overwhelming and the choise of time, cropping, place and exposure is perfectly controlled. Additionally the sky adds a pressing feeling to the shot. Good work!

Love the feel i get looking at this picture! would be a great setting for a movie of 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wordrobe' cold and creepy yet dream like atmosphere, for me anyway!

I enjoyed looking at your photos very much. You have a keen eye for the right light, your composition is excellent. Mastering the square format is not at all easy, but you did. Congratulations, I hope to see more of yours.

Fantasic shot. Perfect light and composition. I like your landscapes so much, I wish you would post more. You are a master of the 6x6 format. Simply beautiful.
