Organic at Harveys

I'd like to see some comments on this one please...

Nice situation, but could use better framing, possibliy a different arrangement of the items on the table, and no jacket over the chair.

Well this picture made me think. So that's number one. Lighting is everything in this pic and very good! I suspect a lot of photoshop work even though it's hard to detect it. Something is very real in this pic and at the same time manipulated. But there is one thing I do know. I like it!

Nice exposure and tones. This image seems to beg for a coffee mug as opposed to soft drink. Then again, maybe I just need more caffeine.

Peter, to be honest. Hardly any Photoshop apart from converting and contrast. I can imagin that you think the characters on the table were put there but it's the shadow of the text on the shopwindow. I was very lucky that I was sitting at Harvey's around midday as you see the sun is pretty high up and gave great lighting. Sometimes naturally lighting cannot be beaten.

 

I do agree on the jacket. Was lazy to not cut it out...

Hey Alec :). No coffee in this shop. It's a healthfood cafe. Carob coffee is the closest you get :)

doesnt need coffee it needs a bagel with hummus.

 

except for how the light area of the jacket shoulder conflicts with the straw of the drink the jacket is ok by me.

I also really like the jacket....looks like the soul of a previous/future customer, nice
