Spotted on a recent field trip with fellow Photo.Netter Greg McCracken. Tripod, cable release, 75mm Tessar (fixed) f16 @ 1/8 sec. Desaturated & flipped horizontally in PS. Bit of curves work to lighten foreground snow & water. Best, LM.

I really like B&W photos, they have a power of their own, which is only rarely surpased by plentitude of colors...

Very nice, Len. The interplay of light and shadow is very interesting and the composition is well-balanced. I like the beautiful range of tones too. Very subtle. Well-shot.

Wm. J. tells me he didn't go on this excursion with you cause it was -27 below ....... !

I like the tones and positioning of the elements in the frame - be careful out there ...... (-;

Ken, Bill may very well have been the smartest of the three of us:) By the time I took this photo the temperature had shot up to -20F......... almost balmy. Kidding aside, to get 2 or 3 keepers from the roll of 12 made the effort worth while. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Best, LM.

Sol ..................... show us a thoughtful picture of your favorite shoes Len - use window light - it's nice and warm indoors ...... (-;

Bill, Sorry for the confusion. Bronica batteries froze, along with my fingers, nose, toes, plus a few other parts I'd rather not discuss on the net, & roughly in that order. Rollei T bailed me out. Bronica works fine now that the temperature is more civilized. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? (apologies to the 'A' team) Best, LM.

Really nice whites here. Must be a beautiful sight to behold. Great shot Len, worth all the shivering you had to endure.

I like the delicate shadows and snow tones, but wish there was more water ripple detail. - best, Gary

Since I'm trying to get better at this your comments are of far more

value than your ratings. Many thanks for your input. Best, LM.
