This is a nice shot, but it's not that original. You've "captured" your subject, but you shot him straight on. I "see" him, and that's better than some photographers do, but I want to "see" you as well. Do you understand? Your portraits should be a combination of your subject, and you. Blended in a perfect world, where I totally see who he is, yet I see who you are as well.
