robertbrown 1 Posted February 11, 2004 Comments, ratings appreciated on cross-processed Xpan--does this format work? thanks. Link to comment
stevenjb 0 Posted February 11, 2004 Great tonality ! I love the blue and yellow fighting for the same space. Have your tried lightening the base area a bit to bring out some texture? Link to comment
tyler_woods 0 Posted February 11, 2004 I do like the color and grain. To me it adds a kind of eerie quality to it. My only suggestion would be to crop a little off the bottom. The dark sky in this is interesting also. Link to comment
andy_bloedow 0 Posted February 11, 2004 i like the image but am not crazy about the crop. Link to comment
michael_ritchie 0 Posted February 11, 2004 Beautiful mood and tonality in this image, I personally like the dark foreground I think it adds to the composition. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 11, 2004 I am crazy about the crop ;-) I am often skeptical of the merits of that sort of thing, but here it is used to great effect. Fantastic composition with the cloud etc although my personal preference would have been for about half as much ground. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted February 11, 2004 Thanks everyone for the comments--I'm happy with the tone, lighting and the effects of cross-processing. This is a full-frame Xpan image: no cropping involved. I think I'll try lightening the bottom a little, and probably crop it a little, too. Thanks for all of the comments. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted February 13, 2004 Oh no... don't change a thing. This is stunning as is. Great color, mood and I like the dark bottom.. giving the photo some anchoring. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted June 21, 2004 This is so very nice, Robert. Once again, your tones are perfection. Link to comment
