Ode to joy...

For me this is Beethoven`s 9th... a symphony through the joy of these

players` eyes in the face of youthful attention. For me this forms

part of daily simple facts of life, often neglected, but if noticed

enlighten my spirit in contrast to the hatred I hear on the news

every time I switch on the tv. Any comments more than welcome, good

or bad.

I am not sure what planet Brendan is from but this is delightful. Photographically the two characters at the top right are very distracting but this is not a set up picture.

Well done!

This is a charming scene to be sure. My comment was more about the dark corner which is typical of the Holga...a plastic camera that shoots 120 film, square negs and has a tendency to do unpredictable things with the exposure. Now, I think it might just be a burn(?) If so, I think a crop from the top would work a bit better, or perhaps a shot taken about 2 seconds later would work too.

I really do like what you were going for here. It is a very lovely scene indeed :-)

ok, thanks to Brendan I edited the photo to its original state. He is right. I had tried to use filter through photoshop to eliminate the obstructing passers by, but I had overdone it. This is more like it I presume. Thanks everyone.

Very nice capture! They seem to be playing just for the little girl!

A wider aperture may have helped to blur the background.

Congratulations Mario !!

You proved that you can do great "ad hoc" dynamic shots, on addition to wonderful architectural and static compositions.

By the way. I would greatly appreciate your critique of my Polo photo. What you didn't like ?

Scores only do not help learning from masters.
