It's hard to get all this and make it compositionally sound when it's out on the street like this. The best advice I can give you is to not worry about what he's going to think if you run around him like a banchee trying to get the right angle. It's funny, but I found on the streets that the more you're out there shooting, the less they actually see you. Get out there, and get out there often. Watch your lines for composition. If this is a small print and you scanned it in, then rescan it in at 600dpi, and that will give you a large enough size to crop it down to something less cluttered. However, next time, if you have a scene like this, come in from the side and try to get close... Make sure you have enough speed to make it crisp, if not, keep your camera mounted on the tripod, and just unfold it when you "touch down". Keep up the passion.
