For Hindus, Thaipusam, which falls on the full moon day in the Tamil month of Thai, is a time of offering thanks to the deity Lord Muragam, who is believe to represent virtue, youth and power. During this 24 hours thousands of Indians all across Malaysia and Singapore participate in this event in Temples. Link to comment
