christian_wagner 0 Posted February 5, 2004 What i like about this photo is the juxtaposition between the small skiers and the massive mountain. That is really striking. The horizon / sky looks a little washed out. Also seems you used a higher ASA setting or slightly underexposed this photo? Maybe provide a little more image info (aperture, ...)--much more valuable than telling which memory card you are using. Memory cards do not influence picture quality. Link to comment

guido_fulgenzi 0 Posted February 6, 2004 Thanks for asking:the shot was taken with the 100 asa and the background looks washed out because was very foggy down to the valley and was out of focus with the tele .I've been used the 'curves' in ps. Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted February 6, 2004 Mi spiace a dirtelo..ma questa....e' Fantastica!!!Un bel taglio diagonale e una immagine quasi irreale!!!!!! Link to comment

salvatore.mele 1 Posted July 1, 2004 As mentioned, the pastel colours of the background are quite nice, and I like their contrast with the texture of the sno. The make a very pleasent picture which in my eyes is even improved by the traces zig-zagging till the right hand side corner. If I might offer a comment, the horizon seems tilted, as this kind of fog should usually follow isothermal lines which are roughly horizonal on the valley. Why did you chose to include so much foreground, though? I know you like the rectangular format, but maybe there is some stuff too much on the left hand side. P.S. to hike = passeggiare, hick = persona provinciale un po' stupidotta Ciao, Link to comment
guido_fulgenzi 0 Posted July 1, 2004 Yes you are right about hiking,my memory...I like the picture as it is to give the feeling of a natural diagonal formation of the mountain a emphasizing the contrast between the mountain and the hikers. Link to comment
