I have been looking at this a while and I can't find a thing wrong with the composition. There does seem to be a slight blue cast to it though, when removed it seems to make the colors of the cliffside stand out more. I played with this a little removing the blue and increased brightness a touch, but this is just my humble opinion. This is excellent!

I like your version as well Stephen. However, there was so much rain and fog out that there really was a blueish tint hanging in the air. It was really cool to see.

Nice exposure and shot

Hate doing this kind of shots, they look so simple, but they are a pain in the but + it is very hard to find the right atmosphere for a shot like this. From my own experience these shots are the best when its a cloudy weather, or almost dusk. Anyway, this one is a nice one, congrats :)

Love the subtle torque the bridge gives to the image...it defines a plane slightly out of kilter with the frame, adding depth. This is a rare composition TC. Beautiful work !

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful comments. I love this waterfall and only wish to show it off through my eyes.

Go get some ND filters for doing these shots and get out in the early morning/evening and add even more to shots like this. This is a very good and solid shot.

I'm so ashamed. I had my ND filter with me and didn't use it. :( And, it was late in the day which in the winter is close to dark. It's dark here by 5:00PM in the winter. :(

I will remember your suggestion for future shots. I love this waterfall. There will be more. I will be wiser. :)

You're correct about it being slightly off angle. I don't usually let that slip. Drives me nuts. Sorry.

Your version is very nice as well. Very vibrant which appeals to me.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment. I appreciate the creative feeback and ideas. :-)

Sincerely!
