What a beautiful shot! I love the cactus in the foreground.

These are true colors

this photo isn't very original, therefore the 2 for originality. as far as asth goes, the colors are really cool but the plants blocking the sky line, i think ruin the shot. the foreground is to consuming. the cactus i like though. just one persons opinion. good thing you asked me though.

The colors were very difficult to catch. I think I had a five minute timeframe to catch them at their peak. This was the most amazing sunset out of 18 or 20 days of taking pictures of them. The brush and cactus are almost totally black like they have been cut out of the picture against a black background. That gives emphasis to their shape. So I am giving you geometry without taking away from the color (sunset). That was achieved by locking spot exposure on a bright point of the sky. Plus I wanted to give a feeling that you were inside nature while viewing the sunset. Like a sneak peak of what's going on. So the cactus and brush was put in there on purpose to add interest.
