artofheadshots 0 Posted February 3, 2004 I am re-releasing this picture to get some feedback. It happens to be one of my favorite portraits, somehow I seem to be alone on that idea. Currently I am re-doing my website, should I can it or keep it? I also, thought I would improve by using finishing touches learned from photo.net. Thanks, Ringo Link to comment
brendan_turner1 0 Posted February 10, 2004 Sorry, it's a neat idea, but it doesn't work. Catching junked-out kids picking their toes in the park is a bit too contentious a subject for a startup portfolio, it would work if you actualy spent some time with her and were involved in her life in some way, see Magnum photos Donovan Wylie "http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/htm/FramerT_MAG.aspx?Stat=Portfolio_DocThumb&V=CDocT&E=29YL53Z7L1VI&DT=ALB". This is a cropped photo taken from at least a "good, safe distance" and it's a bit well, sorry, tacky... Nothing personal, really. Link to comment
