Roger's comment is appropriate. In fact, I was visiting the island to cover the efforts of the islanders, with the aid of American Quakers and the Puerto Rican Independence Party, to put a stop to the decades-long bombardment of the place by the U.S. Navy for gunnery practice. I'll be posting a few of the less-tranquil demonstration images in the future.
