South Pacific? The style of boat and the mountains say Fiji to me...amazing diving!

The horizon cutting through the top of the boat loses marks here though...

Do you do underwater photos?

Oops Indonesia...my bad...

I looked through your portfolio and I have only one question to ask you.....

Can we trade lives for a week?

Brendan, close but not Fiji, it's the Bunaken Marine Reserve in Manado. I have been to Fiji and really love the waters there which I feel is better than Bunaken but have no "wall diving". In Fiji the main island of Veti Levu is already great for diving at the incredible Savusavu Bay. The off shore islands are even more interesting and much cheaper than Maldives. I do dive but unfortunately haven't yet got to underwater photography.

Trade lives for a week? Sure! But like the saying goes "The grass looks ONLY greener on the other side" (",)

Lovely colors. I'd love to be diving there. I've only been a couple times in my life (Molakai and Cancun.) and I loved it tremendously. I'd have to agree about the horizon and the boat. The rest of the shot (color, saturation, etc.) is beautiful.

Spent a month in Savu Savu on Viti Levu...but either way, yes, the diving there is amazing. Great walls. 80 degrees at 50m! I did my first dive there. I think I'm spoiled forever!! Then again, I've not done any diving to compare it with.

Loved your "two cuties" that you stuck under my Chryanthemum photo. The similarities are uncanny... : )

Thanks Joe and Roberto, your PN images are really good. Appreciate your comments.

Brendan, That's why I shot the photo of the two cuties. They must be twins, just look at their unique mouths, reminds me of comicbook sketches i.e. Dennis the Menace?

Wall diving in Fiji? A pity I didn't have time to join a dive team. I hired a car and drove along the beautiful Savusavu Bay and stopped at a lonely stretch, got my snorkels, changed and, oops! Left all my clothes AND car keys in the trunk with the doors locked! What to do? No worry just enjoyed few hours of beautiful snorkelling in crystal clear waters with champagne-like ten feet corals in a sunny afternoon. The shimmering sunlight danced around the sandy bottom with amazing colors on fishes and corals. Awesome (",)

When I returned, the rental car wasn't broken in and I found a small Fijian village where some burly locals helped my to jimmy the car-lock. I was so grateful that I gave them 50 bucks and a dinner treat. Looking at their happy faces really made my day complete. Just like to share my experience with all.

Yes Kim, easy, but only works if there is crystal clear waters which reflects the light so uniquely. Travelers search for miles to enjoy simple pleasures like this and I am still looking for more undiscovered gems!
