robertbrown 1 Posted January 30, 2004 Comments on composition and color of traditional seascape--another take on often photographed Haystack Rock. Thanks. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted February 1, 2004 The "golden" colors are stunning. Layers are wonderful. A great job of an oft photographed location. I thought Acadia park was in Maine? must be more than one. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 2, 2004 This is one of the BEST haystack photos I've ever seen. Wonderful job!! I love the depth created by the foreground haystacks, the middle one, and the one in the far right. The clarity is wonderful, even though there seems to be a bit of the West Coast mistiness in the distance (what time of day was this taken?) (By the way, Regina ... Acadia NP is in Maine (as you well know!) and there is an ARcadia State Park in Oregon. Quite a gorgeous place in its own right!) Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted February 2, 2004 Beautiful work as is. One small suggestion is to go for an even more silvery reflection in the bottom right. I think it could give this even greater impact. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted February 2, 2004 Thanks for all of the comments. Lou Ann, as you stated, this is Oregon and there's almost always mist. This was taken at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon on an unusually pleasant day on the Oregon Coast. Link to comment
