Alec, I like the composition, the stairs, the stream and the path all lead me to the bridge. It looks very restful and pleasant, very calming. Wonderful shades of green. Nice sharp focus and good DOF. Very few deep shadows and really good detail in all of the vegetation. Really, really nice. I'd hang it on my wall. Good job.

technically, the DOF and sharpness of this image are splendid (even though i can't do it well, i can recognize and appreciate when i see it). but, again, what strikes me with all of your images is how you manage to instill life and personality into what is just, fundamentally, a 2-D picture. all of your pictures seem so vibrant and alive to me. how you accomplish this is absolutely mysterious to me and incredible to behold. i am very jealous of your *very* stamp-filled passport...on a side note, thank you for your insightful comments and helpful notes!!

Again, thanks for browsing. I am always interesting in drawing and do sketches good enough to hang on walls. I believe it's because of my artistic background that I find it easy to compose with a camera. I'm also fortunate to travel for my work around the region and take photos during my spare time. (I'm into my 5th passport now). Of course I'm glad to be a member of PN as you guys provide me the inspiration to come up with ideas to keep up with the gang.
