Very refreshing, is that a psychological effect from the color green? Almost unreal in it's simplicity, good use of the rule of thirds, not cluttered. Compelling

Very nice shot here. Great composition. I see a shiny object behind the boat in the water, is that the fish? I might consider dropping the frame on this though, I think it doesn't need it. Again, really nice, and thanks for sharing,

- the stick is an oar and the other stick is a rod.

I like the simplicity. The composition conveys where he has been, unlike the usual guide to framing for space to move into - it works well IMHO.

An ordinary photo of a boat on a snooker/biiliard table. Shadow detail is weak. Low sun angle may have helped, and also gotten his shadow onto the table...Then..with one stop down to blacken the shadows, we may have had an interesting photo...Dunno 'bout the green, flat, smooth table top....Do u have that much algae in German lakes???And no breeze for a few ripples??

Ok, well you got me staring at a lot of green nothing looking for a fish. Actually green nothing is unfair. It is the plain green surface that makes this such a unique image. Billiard table?? Fine... when's the last time you saw a full size man fishing on a billiard table? Nicely seen and nicely captured.

I AGREE IT IS A UNIQUE IMAGE, BUT NOT AN EXTRA-ORDINARY PHOTO. WELL, NOW I HAVE SEEN A FULL SIZE MAN FISHING ON A BILLIARD TABLE, THANKS TO THIS POSTING. I DONT HTINK THE GUY CAPTURED ANY FISH THE ALGAE LOOKS TOO THICK FOR THE BAIT TO BE SEEN
